We are super excited to announce a new project: Trans Radical Resource Exchange, or T-RREx for short! This regular event about harm reduction and other resources for trans people will take place for the first time on the 27th of November at 2pm.

T-RREx is for all transfem, transmasc, non-binary, or otherwise trans/gender variant people in need of information about hormones, self injection/medication, (DIY) medical transition, clothing, make-up advice, or any other trans or gender related subjects.

By coming together to exchange around hormones and self-medication, we want to break the isolation and stigma that often surrounds that process. Together, we can try to make self-medication as safe as possible by providing accurate information, safe supplies, and general help and support for those who need it.

Part of the event will be a separate space where you can learn about hormone injections and how to do them safely. You can also do your own injection if you want to. We will not be providing anyone with any medication, so don’t forget to BYOH (bring your own hormones).

For this first event, we will also be doing a general clothes-swap! So if there are any articles of clothing you don’t vibe with anymore and would gladly get rid of to support your trans siblings in need, bring them here and they’ll be put to good use.
If any of the above tickles your fancy, or you just want to come and meet some other trans folks from the Hague, feel free to come and hang out!

T-RREx will be held at the anarchist bookspace De Opstand, Beatrijsstraat 12 2531 XE Den Haag, from 14:00 to 18:00.

We zijn super enthousiast over een nieuw project: Trans Radical Resource Exchange, afgekort T-RREx! Dit regelmatige evenement over harm reduction (risicoreductie) en andere hulp en informatie voor transgender mensen zal voor het eerst plaatsvinden op zondag 27 november om 2 uur.

T-RREx is voor alle transfeminiene, transmasculiene, nonbinaire of op een andere manier trans of genderdiverse mensen die informatie nodig hebben over hormonen, zelfinjectie/zelfmedicatie, (DIY) medische transitie, kleding, make-up advies, of welk ander trans of gendergerelateerd onderwerp dan ook.

Door samen te komen om ervaringen uit te wisselen met hormonen en zelfmedicatie willen we de isolatie en het stigma dat daar vaak mee samengaat doorbreken. Samen kunnen we proberen om zelfmedicatie zo veilig mogelijk te maken, door accurate informatie, veilige benodigdheden, en algemene hulp en ondersteuning beschikbaar te maken aan degenen die dat nodig hebben.

Onderdeel van het evenement is een aparte ruimte waar je kan leren over hormooninjecties en hoe je die veilig zet. Je kan daar ook je eigen injectie doen als je dat wil. Wij zullen geen medicatie ter beschikking stellen, dus vergeet niet om je eigen hormonen mee te nemen.

Op dit eerste evenement is er ook een kledingruil! Dus als je nog kleren in je kast hebt liggen waar je niks meer mee hebt, neem ze dan mee en wie weet is er een trans sibbe die ze een tweede leven geeft!

Als je hier enthousiast van wordt, of als je gewoon gezellig met andere transmensen uit Den Haag en omgeving wil chillen, kom vooral langs!

T-RREx zal plaatsvinden in de anarchistische boekenplek De Opstand, Beatrijsstraat 12 2531 XE Den Haag, van 14:00 to 18:00.

Wij zijn tegen gevangenissen en een samenleving die ze nodig heeft.
Solidariteit met gevangene kan vele vormen aannemen, met name bijvoorbeeld briefvorm. In de gevangenis moeten er bewust weinig contactpunten zijn met de buitenwereld, met de sociale omgeving, met politieke bewegingen. Het isolement doorbreken door middel van brieven tot op zekere hoogte kan gevangenen heel concreet helpen om het leven in de gevangenis beter te doorstaan.

Samen met een kleine uitleg over hoe u brieven aan opgesloten kameraden schrijft zijn er cookies en thee.

Come around thursday 27/10 2022 from 18.00 onwards for another letter writing session.

We are against prisons and a society that needs them.
Solidarity with prisoners can take many form, suhc as letters. In prison, the people are held with deliberately few points of contact with the outside world, with the social environment, with political movements. Breaking through isolation through letters can help prisoners to a certain extent to better endure life in prison.
Along with a small explanation of how to write letters to imprisoned comrades, there are cookies and tea. See you then!
